Incoming Mail Server

1. Next, you will select your account type. There are two options POP and IMAP. We suggest IMAP. This will allow you to centralize and store all of your email on the server as opposed locally on one device or machine.
2. Add an optional description.
3. Input your Incoming Mail Server. For Brick Studios customers this will be 64.13.254.53.
4. Input your User Name which is your full email address (ie: name@domainname.com).
5. Input your Password.
6. Click "Continue."

Once you click continue you may be prompted with a connection error. Please continue to your Incoming Mail Security Settings: 

Outgoing Mail Server

Once you click continue you may be prompted with a connection error. Please continue to your Outgoing Mail Security Settings: 

1. Add an optional description for your Outgoing Mail settings.
2. Input your Outgoing Mail Server. For Brick Studios customers this will be 64.13.254.53.
3. Check "Use Authentication."
4. Input your User Name which is your full email address (ie: name@domainname.com).
5. Input your Password.
6. Click "Continue."

Outgoing Mail Server (OPTIONAL)

Account Summary

1. Confirm all information is accurate and click "Create."
2. Now feel free to test your settings by attempting to send and receive a email. 

Troubleshooting

• If you can't send or receive, try from the webmail. If the webmail has no issues you may need to check your settings again.
• If you're experiencing problems sending emails check your Outgoing Mail settings, username & password along with the SSL setting (see above). 

Incoming Mail Server:

Your incoming mail server is the IP Address for your server which was provided at the time of setup.

• 64.13.254.53

Incoming Port:

 Use port 993 for a SSL connection:

• Example: 993

Incoming SSL:

 Make sure SSL is enabled for your incoming mail settings within your email client.

• Example: Yes, SSL Enabled

Username:

The username is going to be the full email address created within the Control Panel.

• Example: username@example.com

Password:

The password set within the Control Panel. Be sure to use a strong password, and change it regularly. If you need to change your password please do the following:

1. Login to the Control Panel

2. Click on Domains

3. Click on the domain

4. Click on Email

5. Find the email address and click on edit

6. Change your password, then click on save at the bottom.

Note: If the user knows their current password, they can choose to reset it by logging into the Control Panel using their own credentials.

Outgoing Mail Server:

 The IP Address for your Server.

• 64.13.254.53

Outgoing Port (SMTP):

Your outgoing port numbers may need to be set manually. As we are using a secure connection you will want to use port 465.

• Example: 465

Outgoing SSL:

We are making a secure connection so you will want to make sure SSL is enabled for your outgoing mail settings within your email client.

• Example: Yes, SSL Enabled

1. Open Thunderbird.

2. From the Tools menu, choose Account Settings…

3. Click the Add Account button.

4. Select Email account and click the Next Button.

5. Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.
Enter your full email address username@your-domain-name.com in the ‘Email address:’ field.

6. Select POP3 or IMAP
Enter mail.your-domain-name.com in the ‘Incoming Server:’ field.

7. Enter your full email address username@your-domain-name.com in the Incoming User Name field.

8. Enter the name you want to refer to this email account in the Account Name field.

9. You are almost done setting up your email. Click Next

10. Highlight the Outgoing Server (SMTP) Click on the Edit button.

11. Select the Use name and password check box
Fill in your entire email address in the User Name field.
Click on OK
Close the Account Settings window

1. Open Outlook 2007.

2. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings.

3. Click on the Email tab and click on the “New…” button.

4. Next, select POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click Next.

5. On the Auto Account Setup window check the Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.

NOTE: Brick Studios does not support the Auto Account Setup on our mail servers, so you should not use the Auto Account Setup feature.

6. Select Internet E-mail option and click Next.

7. Fill in the following fields: 

• Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.
• Enter your full email address username@yourdomainname.com 
in the Email Address field.
• Select POP3 or IMAP.
• Enter mail.yourdomainname.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server: field.
• Enter mail.yourdomainname.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field.
• Enter your username username@yourdomainname.com in the Account name field.
• Enter your email password in the Password field.

8. Perform the following steps:
• Click on More Settings…

• Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
• Check My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication
• Make sure Use same setting as my incoming mail server is also checked.
• Click on OK.

9. Click the Test Account Settings button and you should see all
items with green check marks.
Click the Close Button to close the test window. 

Click OK to save your settings.

10. Congratulations. You have finished the setup of your email account. 

Click Finish to close the setup wizard.

You can set up and make changes to an email account directly on the iPhone or the iPod Touch. You will simply need the standard email account information: username, password, and the incoming and outgoing mail server host information for your domain, e.g. mail.your-domain-name.com.

Enter account settings directly on iPhone

1. If this is the first account you’re setting up on the iPhone or the iPod Touch, tap Mail. Otherwise, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.

2. Choose your email account type. For setting up email to work with your Brick Studios service choose Other.

3. Select server type - IMAP or POP, and enter account information.

Fill in your information:
• Name
• Address username@your-domain-name.com
• Description
• Incoming Mail Server Host Name mail.your-domain-name.com
• User Name username@your-domain-name.com
• Password

Fill in your information:

• Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Host Name mail.your-domain-name.com
• User Name username@your-domain-name.com
• Password
• and Tap Save to save the entered information.

5. Upon successful completion of the mailbox setup you are taken back to the Mail Settings screen.

6. If you used the IMAP setting follow the additional steps below:

To download the Inbox folders such as the Sent Items, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail > choose your account.

And click on Advanced, then for the IMAP Path Prefix enter INBOX in all capital letters.

You may also want your iPhone or iPod Touch to store your “Sent” and “Draft” messages on the server you can also change this setting in the advanced settings area.
